◆ Volunteer leadership
Lead one area of our work
Holon is run by people who give their time, its Executive Director included. In a volunteer leadership role you lead one area of our work and decide within it, reporting to our Executive Director. Two roles are open.

About 4 to 6 hours a week, for a year
How it works
- Each role is unpaid, about 4 to 6 hours a week, for twelve months, renewable. The first ninety days are a trial for both of us, and you may step down at any time.
- You report to our Executive Director and decide within your area, with what you may decide written down.
- Before you begin: a conversation, a one-hour working session on a real question from the role, two references and a background check that Holon pays for.
- Out-of-pocket expenses you agree with us in advance are reimbursed against receipts. Holon does not promise paid work.
How to apply
Write to info@holonfoundation.org with the role's title in the subject line, or use the sign-up link on the role's listing. Tell us who you are, why this role, and how many hours a week you can give. We usually reply within two business days.
Other ways to help
If these roles are not for you, groups across Houston post their own volunteer days on Holon's volunteering directory, free.
